Updated: Aug 25

5 tips to improve your verbal cueing

  1. Have strong verbal cues to enable students to follow the class without always having to look directly at the screen.

  2. Speak slowly and clearly, with pauses. This also allows for easier editing afterward.

  3. Be consistent with left and right. This can be difficult to follow on video, so be very specific.

  4. Focus on strong cues, and minimize small talk.

  5. Most importantly, be yourself!
